When you contact me to arrange a first appointment to arrange counselling with me I will send you a copy of my counselling agreement and privacy notice. This includes information on how I manage your personal data.

If you have any complaint about how I handle your personal data, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me at lizspoor@crocuscounselling.co.uk. Please include:

  • your name and contact details

  • a description of what has happened or what you are concerned with

  • any relevant dates, reference numbers or correspondence

  • what outcome you are hoping for (if you have one).

If I receive a complaint, the data protection law says I must:

  • acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 30 days of receiving it;

  • without undue delay, take appropriate steps to respond to your complaint, including making appropriate enquiries, and keep you informed; and

  • without undue delay, tell you the outcome of your complaint.
